The Senate Majority Policy Committee supports the members of the Senate Republican Caucus through research and development of ideas and initiatives.  By developing these policy proposals, members turn ideas and strategies into legislation important to their constituencies.

This website is designed to help you access information with a click of a button.  We have developed a list of “Key Issues” which provide a summary of the top issues the Senate will consider in the 2009-10 session.

The latest announcements and news about Policy Committee hearings on important issues, testimony and information from key stakeholders are available. By listening to the people who are dealing with these problems – whether it’s promoting economic growth, expanding access to health care and making it more affordable, or a range of other issues – we can develop commonsense solutions for the people of Pennsylvania we represent.

The site includes “Weekly Session Notes,” a valuable resource from the Policy and Research Office providing a wrap-up of all the bills the Senate took action on during the week.  Also available are dozens of “Issue Briefs” that can be helpful to you on particular topics.
